もともと海苔巻きを切らないで食べるってのは、大正時代くらいまで大阪の花街で贔屓の舞妓さんにやらせていた遊びで、「尺八食い」ってのが正式名称らしく、男性の皆さん、もうお気づきで。普段は大きな口を開けない舞妓さんに大きな口を開けさせてその表情を楽しむっていうのが正式な発祥らしいですよ。んで、舞妓さんはその「尺八食い」を旧正月の挨拶の時に、ご愛顧に感謝を込めてご贔屓衆に披露するって風習があったようです。ほら。もうドエロ。
